Yesterday, October 18, the russian occupying forces continued barefacedly and cynically shelling the Ukrainian border.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using barrel artillery, mortars and UAVs. The Khotin, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Yunakivka communities of Sumy region and Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the first half of the day, the russians from the russian settlement of nikolaievo-dariino shelled twice one of the settlements of the Yunakivka community with 122-mm barrel artillery, in total there were three dozen shell explosions. As a result of firing, two local residents were killed, and one resident was wounded. Civilian infrastructure and houses of residents were also damaged.

Subsequently, for almost two hours, the occupiers fired one of the settlements of the Khotin community with 122-mm barrel artillery, in total, almost a dozen shells exploded in the central part of the village. The fire started from the russian settlement syniak. As a result of the artillery shelling, the houses of local residents and civil infrastructure were damaged.

On the territory of the Esman community, the enemy fired with mortars from the side of the russian village troiebortne, there were 10 explosions.

The border area of the Seredyna-Buda community suffered from artillery shelling, there were 12 hits from the area of the russian village of zernove.

Enemy unmanned aerial vehicles dropped 3 explosive devices on the territory of the Semenivka community.

On the territory of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community from the side of the settlement of pohar, the russians fired with mortars, there were 10 explosions.

The Snovsk community also suffered from enemy fire with mortars, there were 8 attacks from the area of the russian settlement of chornozemnyi horodok.
